When Acorn & Pip approached us to create a fresh brand identity for their new concept store, we couldn’t wait to start designing. After a few months of planning, research and labour, we were so excited to visit their Slaithwaite shop. This is now a stylish go-to destination within the village, where families can relax, drink coffee, shop, meet and play. Community is at the core, and this is a value that Buttercrumble shares.

How do you rejuvenate your creativity? Travelling is one of our favourite ways. This is why we're excited to be voyaging to Sun and Co. in Jávea, Spain (later this month) for our next design residency.

"Residencies" are where creative professionals can choose to stay (temporarily) elsewhere, sometimes participating in specific programmes and opportunities. These allow artists and designers to work in new conditions which is often a catalyst for the imagination! They also offer a range of facilities and the chance to network.

We've partnered up with Sarah Louise Smith, social media strategist, who's collaborated with Harvey Nichols and Google to deliver amazing results. Now we want to deliver these results for you and your business. 

We are so pleased to announce that Buttercrumble has been shortlisted for the 2018 NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year category. We hope we can make our base of Leeds (West Yorkshire) proud! 

We beat off tough competition in order to make our regional shortlist, with a record number of businesses entering the awards nationally across the wide range of categories.

Seasalt Cornwall launched a beautiful new store in Lytham, Lancashire and we were delighted to be invited to its opening. There were giveaways, gifts, Cornish saffron buns, fudge and illustrations by us. We were in residence from 11am - 4pm and illustrated lots of lovely customers whilst there.

We partnered with York Theatre Royal and Little Vikings to bring the outside, inside for Bloom! Festival 2018. Over the course of a sunny Saturday, we illustrated the windows of the theatre and encouraged visitors to join us. We were inspired by the nearby gardens and used this in our drawings.
