Visiting the New Acorn & Pip Store
When Acorn & Pip approached us to refresh their brand identity for their new concept store, we couldn’t wait to start designing. After a few months of planning, research and labour, we were so excited to visit their Slaithwaite shop. This is now a stylish go-to destination within the village, where families can relax, drink coffee, shop, meet and play. Community is at the core, and this is a value that Buttercrumble shares.
The store stocks beautiful toys and clothing for children, as well as offering a space to drink lovely coffee and eat tasty cake. To match this, Acorn & Pip’s appearance reflects their personal and friendly values. We utilised soft and playful colours to reflect the youthful nature of the brand. White is used generously to create a pure, nurturing and clean aesthetic. This is conveyed throughout the store and café space.
We loved working together with Acorn & Pip to help realise their vision. It was a joy developing their identity in order to create a believable and engaging brand. Throughout the process, we conducted market research, studied colour psychology, wrote copy, reviewed typography and designed the logo. Their audience will connect and form a community through the support of this.
