From Leeds to London: D&AD New Blood 2016

Has two days ever felt like a week? In London (with our busy agenda) it certainly did! Last week, we visited D&AD's New Blood Festival 2016 at the Truman Brewery to exhibit our work with the University of Leeds and we had an amazing time. It gave us the opportunity to meet an incredible amount of interesting people and spend some "quality" time in The Big Smoke.

Being originally from faraway Scarborough, North Yorkshire, it means we have rarely visited London. Fortunately, we had some free time at the New Blood Festival so we became curious tourists who ventured about and took plenty of photographs. Here are some of the best moments captured:

It's always time for cake...

And it's always time for ice cream...

Did we mention jelly too?

That is the best of the mini-holiday snaps! The chance to exhibit our illustrations was something we just had to grasp. We hope to visit London again soon in the near future, but for now we are pleased to be back home in Leeds.
